Is it? I thought DAZN only launched in the UK a couple of years ago. The fight sold out the same day tickets went on sale, which is brisk. Both fighters have inarguably lost plenty of their previous luster, but the evidence suggests that the matchup still has plenty of commercial appeal.

It's not a fight that particularly excites me, though I think it is not uninteresting either. Genuine musing: when was the last non-title HW bout that was bigger than this?

Was Joyce-Zhang for a title? That was a HW fight that I actively sought out. Yeah, Joshua-White 2 is a bigger fight, money-wise. It should be a walk in the park for Joshua, though. I'll watch it, but my expectations aren't high.

Yeah, I'll give you that Joyce-Zhang is worth a mention. I was talking about in terms of money, and no doubt Joshua-Whyte is bigger in those terms, but Joyce-Zhang was a more intriguing fight, I think that's a valid comment. And it was for the interim WBO, so not for a genuine world title belt.

I'm with you in that expectations for this fight shouldn't be high, but I think a lot of people will watch anyway. Whyte really hasn't looked good for about four years now, so I'd have to expect Joshua to maul him. If Joshua struggles, he really does have problems.

"It is the biggest fight for DAZN so far here in the UK.” That ain't saying much, Eddie.
