It's still a huge mystery why Ennis avoided Stanionis, who ended up being taken to task to fight on a GBP card.

Here is a guy Eimantas, who is managed by Shelly Finkel, a full-blooded Haymon and Espinoza ally. And Ennis is signed to Showtime. What the hell happened?! Why did Stanionis ended up fighting on the DAZN platform?

Anybody have any explanation to this?

The bigger issue is that Stanionis should be compensated in some matter for this. Matter of fact, all contracts should have stipulations that due to cancellations pertaining to the reasonable responsibility of the fighter should require damages from the fighter and/or promoter. I bet that would do two things: 1) Guys would figure out their proper weight class real quick, 2) More weight checkpoints, protocols to ensure fighters are on track.

A bit of good news for Stannionis at least. Ortiz should be removed from the rankings entirely. I hope he realizes how lucky he would be to even be able to start from scratch at 154.

I'd love to see a rematch with Butaev, but I think you might see a Jamal James fight in Minnesota or a Mario Barrios fight in Texas, those probably sell the best

You can't say such thing without looking at the timeline. Boots played a waiting game last year and fought only once. He had a long window of opportunity to take advantage of Stanionis' availability before Vergil Ortiz filed his petition. Prior to that, Stanionis filed his for his mandatory position for the Spence fight. Even then, it took a long time for WBA to grant Ortiz's request. All that time Ennis' team didn't do anything. Didn't even reach out to Finkel or Espinoza for the Stanionis fight. Nothing.

After Pac lost and left, we had Spence, Bud, Ugas, Stanionis, Ortiz, Boots, Thurman, Butaev Benn, Avanesyan, etc match-up possibilities at 147. Fighters, managers, and promoters have produce only 3/45 possible match ups with Bud v Spence being the 4th(finally). It's the FANS fault for supporting these dudes. Exactly why I stream most fights or watch on YouTube.
That's still a lot of names to choose from after Pac left.
                  There's also Kavaliauskas, Crowley, etc.
Better names than these heavily hyped guys prefer to fight.

                    Yup!

WBA champ was Pac and Interm was Ugas in 2021. WBA planned a four-man box-off in an attempt to create only one champion at 147 pounds.
Butaev stopped Jamal James in October. Ugas and Stanionis were meant to fight each other in the other bout on Spence vs Pac.
Spence got injured, WBA approved Ugas to step in.

WBA modified tourney and mandated Spence vs Ugas fight winner of Butaev vs Stanionis for the title.

Spence negotiates with Bud, but Stanionis petitions for him vs Spence. WBA allows Bud and Spence, while Ortiz petitions for his shot at the interm since Stanionis never made the Mando. WBA agrees with Ortiz and orders them fight by Jan6th 2023. Ortiz fakes injuries for 6 months before "fainting" and pulling out.

I agree that Stanionis and Boots is a wonderful fight but Boots went the IBF route and clearly called for Spence, Bud, Thurman. And Ortiz while Stanionis went the WBA route but don't try and spin like he's been ducking him.

Bro, you named guys in their same boat. Kavaliauskas has done as much as Hooker and Crowley is with the guys I mentioned. Same point though, they haven't fought each other and are just waiting around.
