I personally will be surprised with that weight. Roach will want Pac to be mobile and to stay out of the Pocket/clinches with Cotto as much as he possibly can. Having Pac weigh 150 + on fight night will only slow him down and give Miguel more of a chance to cut the distance down on Manny - I expect Pac to come in at 148 tops.Comment

I think we made the bet like the week the fight was announced. I forgot about it myself until a few days ago.
You have good odds though. My bet record is like 1-7 or something like that. The one win was the Cotto controversial decision over Clottey, and the guy bitched about giving me money. I wasn't about to let him off the hook though because he beat me on two other bets.Comment

Here is an article from before the Pac-Diaz fight:
To be frank, not even Pacquiao's trainer, the venerable Freddie Roach, claims to know. He can believe, as he does, that he has the better fighter, but to know for sure the full effect of such a climb in weight is something else entirely.
"Manny was having a lot of trouble making 130 lately," Roach said. "He was starving himself to do it and that made him a little weak. Then he'd overeat after the weigh-in to compensate. He gained 15, 16 pounds after the weigh-in before the last (Juan Manuel) Marquez fight. That kind of extra weight makes you sluggish.
"With each fight he was feeling more and more like he'd been starving himself so he'd put more weight back on after the weigh in. That became more and more of a problem. We need to avoid that this time, but all I can do is talk to him about what to do after the weigh-in.Comment
