Why is all the news always in Pacquiaos perspective??? why cant we hear news from cottos? ex. "This will be the easist fight Cotto has been in." or "Cotto has a high chnce of beating Manny, then after that, possibly a shot with mayweather"..

I wanna hear some **** like that, we hear too much from pacs perspective.
        BTW im a Pac fan.

For real, enough already. Too much credit given to Manny and it is setting up for a huge dissapointment if Manny loses and Cotto wins. BTW, i'm a huge Manny fan and i'm betting and hoping that he wins.

The Castillo who fought Hatton was not the same Castillo who fought Floyd twice.

You sold yourself too much on Hatton.

Typical Paqsexual response to Marquez owning him.

People are basing it all on Pac's last 2 fights. I'm not saying Pacquiao's not good or that his wins are overrated, but...c'mon.

You ask ANY casual boxing fan around Puerto Rico and they'll tell you: "Cotto's gonna' get it! I don't wanna' watch that massacre!"

You ask them how many Pacquiao fights they've seen and they'll respond: "Didn't you see what Pacquiao did to De la Hoya?"

"Didn't you see how that black guy [Clottey] beat Cotto up?"

It's natural to have an impression of a fighter basing it off of his last fight (or two fights), and you can make a case for either.

Hatton was chinny, DLH was drained.
Clottey didn't step on the gas, Jennings was a bum.

They both have great attributes and it should be a night to remember here in Puerto Rico.

                  My opinion:

Pacquiao's got speed, hits hard, and jumping through weight classes doesn't seem to affect him.

Cotto SHOULD be naturally stronger, a better fighter than DLH in 2008 and Hatton 2009. However, Cotto catches a lot of power punches and is prone to cuts. He was caught by a slow-punching Margarito (plaster or not) and Pacquiao doesn't just let you get a 5-round head start.

Again, Cotto catches a lot of power-punches and Pacquiao has devastated people with it. Everyone comments the same thing after fighting Pacquiao: "Too fast..."

And the psychological factor, Cotto's coming back to the MGM, where he, just as Hatton, is returning to the scene of the crime; the place where he first loss in Summer 2008. This time, however, to fight a much better fighter.

The burning questions: Can Pacquiao take a clean punch from Cotto? Can/Will Cotto adjust or be ready to handle Pacquiao's speed?

I personally can't wait. And bottom line, even among the obvious factors that will be against Cotto, I believe that he will somehow pull off an upset.

And I would be glad to stake my points after returning to the University...

The fact of the matter is that no one is going to 'cry' if he happens to lose, about him moving up in weight.

I admire the fact that there are still fighters willing to move up and test their skills. He's already at a huge size and strength disadvantage so its still a win-win situation for him. If he loses, he lost to arguably the best welterweight in the world. No shame in that. If he wins, its a testament to his abilities.

But you're a moron so I don't expect you to understand.

Shut the ****kk up you pacquiao Cokkk suckkker you... With your Pacquiao picture on your profile.... The man gave his opinion and that was it. Everybody is entitled to their opinion..... I can't wait for Cotto to knock out this little turd so all of these gay pacquiao fans could go ****kk each other...
