FLOYD WAS JUST 160-165 lbs in the JMM fight and that is the exact weigh of him during fight night because mayweather was huge welterweight already. And pacman is midget compared to floyd if they ever fight it will be like david vs goliath. hahahaha.Comment

The idea that Floyd gained ten pounds of muscle on that frame is crazy. We watched 24/7 for four weeks and Floyd had his shirt off. Nobody was saying "dude is jacked".
The reality is that the actual size between Floyd and Marquez is pretty small. But I do understand that FMJ's ability, skill and experience with bigger men creates a wider gulf than the size would foretell.
Believe your eyes.
plus since marquez weighed in fight night , we know he didn't blow up.
floyd didn't weigh in fight night so we can't know. he certainly looked a lot bigger fight night.Comment

Rao,
If Floyd was badly dehydrated, then it should have shown over twelve rounds? Right?
I mean, this is a guy who is not accustomed to stripping down a lot of weight. Wouldn't you agree?
I think the cut-up dark-skinned guy will always look bigger than the smooth , fairer guy. Floyd was the bigger man. But not to the expent that is being portrayed. Marquez' best weight was 126. Floyd's best weight was 130. They fought four pounds apart for five years. There can't be a huge difference.
If you put some screen caps of Zab Judah/Floyd and Marquez/Floyd, you'll see a distinct difference no matter how dark skinned Floyd may be. Let's face it, Floyd is older may have harder time losing weight and 155-160 may very well be his natural weight now. He could do 148/ 150 two to three years ago but maybe not anymore. He said he couldn't go below 146 when a few years ago that was his pre-fight weigh-in. It's either fat or muscle choose your pick.Comment

Just curious since i wasn't paying attention, what was JMM fight night weight against Floyd?
because i see no reason for him to dehydrate to lose lb's if he was already 2lb's under the initial fight weight and 5 lbs under the rejigged fight weight.
Floyd on the other hand COULDN'T make 144lb and had to renegotiate, ergo he couldn't dehydrate down and would have bulked back up higher than he would have at 144.Comment
