Fair play to Joyce for having an immediate rematch, although he had little choice at 37 and wanting to be a world champion. Zhang really bashed him up last time and Joe really hasn’t shown the defence in his pro career to avoid the incoming barrage, plus Zhang will have even more confidence that he can beat him again.

Yes, if you can't beat Zhang maybe it wasn't to be you'd beat fury. But maybe in hindsight you should never have fought Zhang in first place.....beating dubois and Parker shouldve got you a fury/usy k payday

I admire him running it back immediately, but Zhang's only gonna land worse this time. Good luck to him, though.

Am I the only one putting the house on joyce ?

That closed eye is the only reason he lost that fight he was just starting to start smoking and zhang was starting to fade at the time of the stoppage

Plus Joe was taking zhangs punches much better than he was in the earlier rounds

I actually seen an interview where Joyce said he would take step aside money if it was big enough so not entirely true guessing Warren didn't think that price was worth it to secure the fight.

I think Joyce should have avoided the rematch if possible. He's not the kind of fighter that can change. His only thing is landing a lot of punches (he doesn't punch hard) and being tough enough to not get knocked out in the process. Now he's found someone that doesn't work against, he is in trouble

I remember when Adam Booth tried to change Joyce to avoid being hit and Joyce would do it for a few rounds, hardly land a punch and then go back to his old ways to win the fight

You might didn't realize this but Zhang and Fury are two different boxers right? Zhang is a south paw who fights nothing like Fury. Fury also isn't much of a puncher for a guy his "size" so Joyce wouldn't have to worry about that either.

Lol zhang wasn’t fading quite yet. It was wasnt as one sided a fight as it’s made out to have been tho I think Joyce was only down a round maybe 2 and had won the previous round. Zhang is faster and is a better boxer than joe and has the south paw advantages but has a highly questionable gas tank.Joyce has an iron chin and cardio for days. Joe will have to impose more to win this and gas zhang before he takes too many punches. It’s not a gimme fight for joe it’s very very difficult

It’s cause he’s too slow. People think every 6”7 260lb boxer can move like fury but that’s not reality. There’s only 1 gypsy king lol
