He’s got an exclusive contract with TR/ESPN. I agree, he’s not retiring, but it’s not like he can just pick up and leave to a deferent network.

Some of the things he’s saying is true, but you can’t talk shiet about a network and their employees, then be surprised when you’re not invited to the company’s picnic lol.

Teo reminds me of the type of Soldiers that were outstanding in the field or on deployments. Really squared away when it was time to train or at the two way rifle range..but were terrible back in garrison and couldn’t t stay out of brig or confined under civilian authority. Teo is a stellar performer in the ring but outside the ring his mouth writes cheques his ass can’t cash

Firstly, this makes you sound like a whiny crybaby.

Secondly, nobody believes this is the reason you retired. You either retired temporarily to protect yourself financially during your divorce or because you're not confident you can beat the other top opponents out there. Or maybe both.

With all due respect to a great performance none of us thought he had in him at the end of the day Teofimo bitches and whines and cries way too much for my liking. This guy seems to be whining all the ****ing time and I say good riddance if this retirement happens to be real. I can't stand someone always playing a GD victim even when it's true there's a time to STFU and just endure it. Nobody likes a ****ing whiner Teo

Ever think that maybe you and your dad's mouths might dig you into something your fists can't get you out of?
Let's be honest. We've all known somebody like Teo all of our lives, just without all of the skill, talent, accomplishment and accolades. The best gift somebody close to him could give him at this stage would be to cycle duct tape around his mouth. Human beings like to wave flags and proudly beat their chests, claiming to be objective, professional and impersonal. The truth is bias bleeds through, and a terrific talent with a cutting tongue and a loose mouth (equipped with background idiot fanning the flames of ire and vitriol) will trump the so-called professionalism and objectivity of the ego-centric power brokers. Regardless, there's a high probability we're gonna miss him when he is gone.

espn has supported him and even called him undisputed when he wasn't undisputed. He has benefitted from them many times.
