Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo: September 30 in Las Vegas

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will proceed with plans to fight a Charlo in September. Just not the one that everyone expected. The undisputed super middleweight champion confirmed a deal in place to face Jermell Charlo atop a September 30 Showtime Pay-Per-View event from a yet-to-be-determined Las Vegas venue. Alvarez announced the fight Friday afternoon to end weeks of speculation and also dispel previously and widely believed rumors that he would next face WBC middleweight titlist Jermall Charlo.

Surprised like everyone. No one reported this as far as im aware not even the journalists. That being said Jermell deserves it more. Jermall has done nothing and fought no one.
