Let's start with Crawford getting half the revenue when his biggest PPV was 100k.... When the other guy has sold more 300k+ on multiple occasions.... I'm sure that's what he's talking about.
So you would agree that Crawford played his cards right?
Obviously there had to be some compromise from both fighters in order for this fight to happen. Instead of finding fault with how the negotiations went, let's just be happy that a great fight has been arranged for us to enjoy.
OldTerry summed it up nicely: "Obviously there had to be some compromise from both fighters in order for this fight to happen. Instead of finding fault with how the negotiations went, let's just be happy that a great fight has been arranged for us to enjoy."
Spence is just trying to discredit Crawford without anything specific. But then you read the piece and it says EVEYONE had to make concessions and not just Spence as the headline makes out. It's just the usual pettiness. Crawford it seems is just getting on with it. Spence is doing childish shlt like this. It's clear who is emotionally and mentally ready to go to battle and who isn't.
The journalists made it clear concessions were made. The writer then made it seem like Spence made most or all of the concessions. But the journalist didn’t highlight one concession by Spence. Many hollow remarks with no substance. For Spence to concede a payout of 70/30 favoring Spence to a 55/45 still favoring Spence is no concession at all. Crawford was demanding ordinary equality in the Contract. Anyway Contract signed now- so forget about what’s done. We moving forward now- no more backward stuff bout Contracts etc.
