In all likelihood, this fight won't catch fire. It's not Spence who i see being the problem but Crawford. His fights against Porter and Postal were not impressive in any way. But hey, it needs to happen.

People don't believe me. Watch - Crawford is NOT going to engage. He's going to try to clip Spence off a counter or a check shot and then jump on him. Watch

These were great fighters of a great era that weren’t afraid to risk losing but instead tried to prove that they were the best. Even Mosley and De La Hoya were cut from this cloth. Mosley and De La Hoya were in there 20’s when they fought and so Trinidad when he fought De La Hoya.
Mosley fought an undefeated Vernon Forrest twice and challenged Winky Wright too. De La Hoya and Trinidad moved up and challenged the great Hopkins. Trinidad fought Roy Jones.
These fighters proved greatness by taking on true 50/50 fights. Something delusional Floyd Mayweather fans can’t seem to understand or are in complete denial of this fact. When was Floyd ever truly in a 50/50 fight? Those that believe is the best ever truly don’t know squat about boxing or it’s history.
The same goes for Spence vs Crawford. Spence has a more legit resume. This fight took too long to happen that I really don’t care for it so much now.shwaap likes this.

Facts, Leonard and Hearns were 25 and 22 years of age when they fought. Duran and Leonard were 29 and 24 when they fought. At 29, Duran was 71-1. Skank Stank Davis is 29 now so what does that tell you? Hagler and Hearns were 30 and 26 when they fought.

Great fighters loose when they go up in weight looking for bigger challenges. Now they cherry pick the low hanging fruit at the division above.Marktko1020 likes this.

I wouldn't dare keep you from the opportunity to join Man Down in celebration, I'm not vindictive. I'll make sure the party bus has. plenty of crawfish and crying towels for the new guys, and I will get you a personalized smoking on Bud tshirt.
