If they are coming up they probably cant afford a famous trainer so they will stick with their father. look at tyson fury, with his father for a long time until he can afford a different trainer. A lot of them eventually switch and its usually a falling out but bradley needs to *** off

I don't think it should necessarily be "banned" but regulated with more resources to help direct the father / son teams to success. As a single father bachelor, my son is all I have. And during the times of darkness, my son was right along my side holding the light. He was there with me in the gym, at the dojo... watching me train, bite down hard and dig deep. All the while, my little man had no idea I was in so much pain, so much hurt, so much anguish with uncertainty. He's my motivation, my love, my focus. And I could never have gotten to where I am without him.

As far as in the pros, I think it's a very delicate situation to mix Father / Son in such a deadly and lucrative business such as Prizefighting. The fans really have no clue what is required to be in this life. Personally, I could never be my son's trainer if we were ever put in that situation. However, I'll always be his teacher, because my son's life comes first. And as long as he and I are together, we're already champions.

Today, IMO, I think fathers in boxing need to take a seat; starting in the gym. There's nothing wrong with supporting your son or daughter, being there, motivating, pushing, encouraging and doing all the things a good father should. But there has to be boundaries because they're still a team. However, Rule No.1 in boxing is protect yourself at all times...which also includes finances. PRO-Boxing is all about money, business, and entertainment. For me, it's the epitome of "The Hustle." And a father should be guiding and protecting his son, looking out for his best interest and health, not chase money, glory or putting him in dangerous situations. There's only two places on Earth where I need to be: ringside and right next to my son.

Father / Son team was the entire theme for Creed II

It's when some fathers try to live through their sons and smack talking the other fighter like Angel Garcia, Teofimo Lopez Snr. They should just ban fathers from talking lol

Bradley needs to shut his mouth, until he can utilize common sense prior to making a statement.
The Trinidad's were one of the most successful father, and son team's in the history of boxing.
There were a few more that were mentioned in earlier comment's on this particular post.
