Isnt this the current WBC mandated fight ? Don’t the WBC have a deadline and or set splits in the rules ? Seems to me they don’t want to actually make this fight happen .

30% of $30-$40 of million should keep one comfortable for a lifetime. Andy must be living high on the hog.

          Boxing?

Not sure how many sports you follow, but finances are very public in like any major sport. And fans discuss finances of athletes and teams, in literally every sport.

Fans love using finances to talk about an athlete's worth for their team, if he's underperforming, etc. It also determines who can join your team, due to salary caps.

It's the same in boxing, fans use it to figure out a boxer's worth and who they can fight next and who won't fight them because they're asking for too much money without even being able to generate that money.

Wilder was stuck at 10 million max until his rematch with Fury when he made $28 million but was it, he fell right back down to 10 million in their 3rd outing. In the end, Wilder vs Andy could possibly top out at 20 million but that's it....total. In that case Andy might make 6 million but after he gets knocked his train is derailed and he'll drop to $800,000 - 1 million max.

What has Ruiz actually done to deserve a reported $20m to fight Fury or 50% to fight Wilder ? other than bounce Joshua around the ring he was dropped by old Arreolla , beat ancient Ortiz and lost to Parker.Came in obese in the second Joshua fight and by all accounts does look much better at the moment . When he's in shape ,well HIS best shape he's not a bad fighter but it's obvious he lives in the fridge and not the gym ...too risky for that kind of money , no promoter ,surely would want to suffer that kind of embarrassment again.

50 a piece is actually more than fair tbh, both former world champs, both lost to british fighters, both have similar fan bases, why andy should take 30%? **** that!

Why isn't Ruiz worth 50%? Is this the return of the Wilder fanboys or something? Wilder isn't worth any more than Ruiz. He's never beaten anyone of note, His greatest achievement is getting splattered by Fury. What a punk.
