Damn, how many excuses does she have? She ran from Shields, and straight up said no to a Terri Harper fight, why was she even at the weight class? To beat the ones that she felt were beatable for their belts, money, and acclaim, then take off when real challenges of defending the titles came knocking.

I almost wish Shields would go down to 147
and win a title just to troll her,
but the risk to Shields' body is likely too great
        to make that practical
outside of a one-time super fantasy fight
like Katie Taylor or Chantelle Cameron.

She went to 154 because she knew she wasn't gonna get a title win between 130-140. She wasn't beating Mayer,Alicia, didn't beat Taylor and wasn't beating Cameron either. 154 was a graveyard division left fractured after claressa moved back to 160 and she saw some easy work there because the girls in that division are pretty sub par. And she'll beat this girl on Saturday who I saw fight McCaskill and she was very tough but so limited so another easy belt at 147

She wanted Katie Taylor money to fight Shields. She's not Katie Taylor. She's just another talkative hype job from overseas.

Based on the comments I'm reading, Jonas did the same thing male boxers are doing and have been doing for a long time. Not saying it's right or wrong.. it's boxing as it's been since before any of us were even born.

What does it say about the depth of women’s boxing that a fighter can go so far above her natural weight and unify 3 titles so easily. In the men’s this would be HOF behaviour.

It's like shakur Stevenson going from 130lbs to fight jermell charlo in his next fight an taking the belts. It would be an absolutely crazy achievement.. but the girls she's fighting they look like they've been doing boxercise. Just a shallower depth of talent the higher in weight you get in women's boxing so she saw that as easy work because she has a different pedigree to these women

And we complain about it when male boxers do it, constantly.
