Will/Can Edgar become champ soon?

Edgar Berlanga has been highly-criticized in regards to his skill level.
It hasn't changed after the Qugley victory.

His performances make me wonder if he will become champ anytime soon. I personally think he definitely has the potential to grow yet him crying for a Canelo fight for so long is quite laughable at this point for the fact that he is nowhere near such level.

Yeah I feel a year or two seems more feasible.

I feel Canelo won't be in the race much longer, specifically in that time frame you gave. In the meantime I think Matchroom will keep giving him these C level fighters until he gets a shot, but Berlanga better start learning more fundamentals before reaching the top level.
