Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia on Prograis: The Regis We Saw [Against Zorrilla], Anybody Would Beat Him

Robert Garcia is certain that Regis Prograis' last performance was an anomaly. The veteran trainer out of Riverside, California, thinks the WBC junior welterweight titlist's fight against Danielito Zorrilla was not indicative of his actual abilities.

He's not wrong, Prograis looked like ass. He looked stiff and awkward.

Yeah I think Regis even felt that performance might not cut the mustard moving forward.

I expect Regis to fix whatever was wrong with him and look better next time out!

Many are failing to realize that it was Zorrilla's effort in the fight that caused Prograis to look so beatable.
Prograis didn't take Zorrilla seriously enough, due to his being a last minute replacement.
He thought he was going to walk right through him, only to get dropped, hurt, and embarrassed in the very first round.
Once they had both felt each others power, they rarely engaged in an effort to avoid getting dropped again, which lead to boos from the crowd.

Always get a chuckle when some random trainer ( meaning not the aforementioned boxer’s trainer )comes around and judges a fighter from one fight
When in return , obviously ,he wouldn’t say the same about his own fighters

Regis first fight with new matchroom contract.adds stress and anxiety to shine as expected.

Regis bad mouthing Teofimo's last 3 fights, then Taylor's performance against Teofimo.

Regis got a little taste of KARMA.
