Berlanga is nowhere near the level of a 41 year old GGG.

His struggling decision wins as soon as stepping to journeymen level shows he’s a journeyman himself, presently.

If he wants to turn fan perception around, he’s going to have to start look much better than he has in his last 4 fights.

While this is true, I would definitely like to see Berlanga versus GGG, I'm not sure that GGG would be an easier fight than Benavidez, or Morrell.
That said Berlanga better concentrate on his next opponent Quigley, and if he's successful against him, then the conversation can turn to GGG, Benavidez, and Morrell.

Pacheco would definitely be a great test for Berlanga, two undefeated punchers with the all important Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry to top it off.

Golovkin is looking retired to me. I wish the man well. When he was at the peak of his powers, nobody was calling him out. It was a great run -- could have been better if A-list competition had been willing to face him earlier -- but it's over now, and thanks for the memories!

He's confidence has nothing to do with benavidez performance. After all he did beat up plant real bad, canelo knock the Fook out of plant, but didn't inflict this mich pain, it was quick. Shields was the one not sure if he was ready or not, I didn't like what he said back then, but I do understand why he say it abd in hindsight it was better to wait. The other thing that's showing, he ain't a YES man.
