well part of beating big punchers is having a great defense. I think he could have beat GGG, its at minimum a 50-50 fight if not better, and at the time he was more proven than GGG i would say having beaten Jacob.


Same reason I think Bivol is the only guy that beats beterbiev today is having a top notch defense is the first step to beating a massive puncher.

GGG prime is nearly unbeatable. but GGG's style doesn't age well even when he did age, he still outboxed the defensive Canelo style. If it was a prime GGG in there, Pirog, Canelo all get stopped.
