Like I said I get the point that he’s still earning and all, but it still doesn’t hurt to admit that it’s getting ridiculous and lame. It’s called being open minded.
If you see my initial response in the thread, I agree with calling it lame.

My response was to your implication that fighting these fights is because of needing money.

I also think being a Manny fan caused you to have that view. I doubt you think anyone else rich that earns loney is doing so because they are broke.

What did anyone expect? He is bored with his money because he is a boring person. He can’t buy his way out of his misery and boredom, he needs the spotlight to remain relevant. He is surrounded by yes men, whores and people using him for his money. He has no true friends and he failed as a father. These circus act exhibitions are the only thing he has to remind people he is still alive. He will die wealthy, but lonely and miserable.

Nah this is my view regardless of manny. It’s you who can’t separate them and seems to be your automatic argument everywhere else in the forum.

I never implied Floyd to be broke or in dire need of money (but who knows? Hmmm) I just said he’s trying to squeeze it all down to whatever he can get, even if he already looks ridiculous and lame doing it.

i have huge admiration for Floyd, to be honest and I find it unnecessary for him to still be doing this, especially at these levels against these bums who don’t deserve to be in the square with him. I thought he all about being cool,
smooth and looking good, and this just ain’t it. Seeing him with nobodies completely looks the opposite for someone of his stature. if he’s earning what 500k to maybe a couple of millions with these exhibitions since the arenas are not really crowded it’s hard to assume the numbers would be north of that, those numbers are easily achievable with like index fund dividends or other sort of investments, or whatsoever especially with the capital he’s got.

its really no different then what he was doing in his boxing career, the only difference is the veil has been lifted and your perception has been shifted. he always went around cherry picking the right fights, he simply had better skills which allowed him to beat his hand picked or faded opponents while avoiding the ones he didnt want to fight, now he doesnt have those skills so he has to choose even more carefully. he never fought any prime greats for a reason. a choice was made

It all good at least he is not trying to do these exhibitions as a pbc ppv undercard match.

Even broke ex NBA players, like Iverson maybe, who has a lot of fanbase maybe even more than Floyd, don’t get to this very reduced level.
I voted the exhibitions are lame bc they are. LOL!

I'd have to disagree about A.I. about being broke. Read this article about Iverson getting a check from Reebok when he hits a certain age (50s something).

I don't see why it's so hard for even his die hard fanboys to see the hustle

Brah, forget the exhibitions. His sanction pro fights were lame. Did you see people walking out of their seat when he fought Baldomir? They paid money for front row seats and walked out. The dude is a snoozer.

They would get lamer and lamer if you watch them. Easy trick is don't. I watched one exhibition against a UFC fighter which for some reason went down as a pro fight and got him to 50

I just don't watch them. He will continue to do them as long as people are watching.
