For a fight that has this high of a profile the trash tack has been corny and lackluster.
These guys both need a hype man that brings that good trash talk.

I was just telling my homie this same thing. Neither of them are a trash talking individual, nor do they create fake beefs. They definitely need someone in their corner who grew up watching WWF/WWE and is willing to create a buzz around their abilities. The Fish Fry is cute..... The Crawfish Boil was a cute response, but the rest of the things they are saying we as fans can do without.......

Unfortunately for you, Crawford is not known for his great conditioning. So, the longer it lasts the more Spence will wear him down and he will go into survival mode and take a beating.

Every boxer who travels to Colorado and/or Omaha to train with Crawford have marveled at his work ethic.... Both Amir Khan and Shakur Stevenson have talked about watching spar with different fighters for 15+ rounds........ But "he's not known for his great conditioning".......

Yet you think a man who drinks as heavy as Spence does and blows up to damn near 30/40 lbs above fight weight when he's not in camp is the picture of great conditioning?...... Have you ever seen Spence in person in between fights. I first ran into him in person about a month after the Peterson fight.......He was built like a part time gym teacher.

Spence self proclaims himself as much as any fighter in the business....... He refers to himself as "THE BIG FISH"......yet he has NEVER faced an undefeated opponent competing for a title in his division. He chants "MAN DOWN" yet Mikey who was competing at 135lbs went 12 rounds with him and was never hurt or in trouble of being stopped. He claims to be doing the "HEAVY LIFTING" but of his last 6 opponents, 3 of them weren't ranked in the division.... He won't fight Thurman, but he was willing to fight 2 individuals who lost to him. The belt he got from Porter was the vacated belt he won by beating Danny. Both of them failed to take that belt from Thurman head to head....Spence follows those 2 fights by fighting someone who lost to Porter...... Ugas....who was GIVEN a belt when Manny was stripped. He didn't even fight for it. Then he defended it vs a 42 year old Manny who had been out the ring for 2 years...........

Don't know if he's the greatest of this era, but he's definitely in the argument. Other than Floyd, Manny, & Canelo, who are the active fighters more accomplished who've fought in the last 10 years. 6x world title holder across 3 divisions. Undisputed. 2x Lineal. 2x Fighter of the Year. ESPY Award winner.... The only active fighter in history to have his fist engraved at the Boxing Hall of Fame ceremony.......... I mean, it's easy for Crawford's fans to jump on the hype.

Spence's fans can't claim him to be the greatest of this era..... He hasn't even fought the top 3 welterweights of his time, not name himself. Thurman, Manny, & Crawford. Hell he started his career at 154 and dropped to 147 just to contend for a title. Hell most of Spence's fans think he's been a welterweight his entire career.

An interesting side note.....Spence went a hard 12 with feather fist Porter and didn't stop him. The "Porter didn't train right for Bud" narrative is pretty funny, as Porter looked to be in great shape and looked normal....up until the moment Crawford hurt him. You can"t train your chin, and Porter took huge shots from Spence, as well as Thurman. Didn't crack.

Bud has real power. Spence better stay away and stink it up.

Porter's camp was posting multiple videos on YouTube talking about them preparing to give Crawford more pressure than he's ever experienced. They guaranteed a stoppage. Doubled down on it the week of the fight until Crawford was face to face with both of them on that stage and the energy change.

I clearly expect excuses for Crawford's dominance to come shortly after this fight as it has happen with every fighter who was suppose to EXPOSE Crawford..... Gamboa was supposed to be too skilled. Postol was supposed to be too savvy. Horn/Benevidez/Brook was suppose to be too big and strong. Porter was suppose to have too much "dog" in him. I'm just ready for the fight so the nonsense can stopped and we can focus on when/if Crawford is going to fight Charlo......(which I think Charlo may lose to Tim if he gets to him first)
