    Reamtch clause.

    On topic:

You are way to harsh. The guy is 43 and did good for the first few 4-5 rounds. He actually was hit behind the head and counted bogusly by the ref in the 4th.He was also hit in the back of the head later in the fight.
Sure he complained a lot but he did better than expected at this stage. The man is years past his prime.

He did do okay for a few rounds but thats why his dying swan act was so pointless, he may have had a shot at winning the fight if he was not trying to con the ref, he to was hitting behind the head, infact i think he initiated it from the outset.

He was trying to force a point deduction and that i cant agree with, if you are going to win a fight win it fair and square or go down when you are genuinely hurt not make a fool of yourself.

I doubt he was winning either way.

Personally I didn't see him hit Pascal in the back of the head.Maybe he did.

What I'm saying don't judge him by this fight. In his prime he was good and fought ALL european comers from MW to LHW.

Tell you who Branco reminded me of ? another Italian fighter, Vincenzo Nardiello, he was notorious for breaking down mentally and complaining to the referee, he did it against Robin Reid, he did it against Nigel Benn.

Again, don't judge him based on just this fight.

He usually is a warrior but he just doesn't have it anymore. He wasn't so bad technically either.

He still has dignity though right, well why go out like that?

Going down faking injury is not within the spirit of the game, fight to win, dont cheat to win because your victory will be hollow.

See if you can see anything in it, i might just be being picky.
I haven't watched the fight yet, but I'll look out for him being off balanced.

Still, I think his biggest fault is tendency to go to war, while he is guy whose defense is based on his reflexes, and not on sound fundamentals.

Its funny you should say that because there were slight occasions where he did square up and let both hands fly, not often but occasionally.

I haven't seen the fight yet, but my post was more in reference to what he did early on in the Froch fight, and what he did during the Diaconu fight, especially the later stages.
