Hopefully they will be able to make it happen. The only nut job that might screw it up is Fury. I really think that he wants no part of Usyk.

They will pay premium but not the prices people are throwing about. They're not ****** as people think they will still want to recoup as much as they can. To answer your main question, they want to be big on the sports scene going forward and boost tourism over the next decade. Saudis have bought newcastle, took over the top saudi clubs ownership, pga golf merger, wwe contract, ronaldo benzema signings etc

They will want to make money from this. Signing Usyk changes things. They will want to sweat their asset just like the rest of the vultures do.

Usyk is only an asset to them if he fights Fury or Wilder. They need that fight. They want eyes on Saudi. A big fight is what they need. Usyk vs Dubois or a Hrgovic does nothing for Saudi.

I think you are right. This is why will Usyk fight DDD in Poland.

Saudis are really interested only in big 4, Fury, Usyk, Joshua, Wilder.

The unified HW champion is an asset no matter who he fights. If they just wanted the Fury fight they could have just bought it like they have others, they didn't need to sign Usyk, but their approach has changed as they have gained experience on what is involved and the money that can be made.

                Unfortunately for some Game Changed.

They'll sign all four for an unprecedented fight for a single boxing event of the largest magitude. Then Fury will pull out a few weeks beforehand.

I agree and seriously hope this show comes through but my concern is the many moving parts itll take to make it happen and the fighters may not end up the problem all the different promotional companies agreeing may be the hiccup.
