Comments Thread For: Badou Jack: I Won't Be Facing Canelo Next; They Want Fight At 180, Plus Rehydration Clause

If the fight is not for the cruiserweight title I think the offer is good for Jack , remember fighting Canelo is really like winning the lottery just to fight him and jack was super strong at 175 2 years ago and a fight before that came down from 190 and was 175 before that , if I was in jack s place I'd take it in a heartbeat if Canelo offered lottery type moneyComment

Dang, Canelo tried to get out of the predicament of getting criticism by avoiding Benavidez and getting rejected by Bivol (due to proposing a deal heavily favoring Alvarez despite losing the first match) via fighting a world champ at two divisions above.
But now Badou rejected the deal by pointing out the stipulations (the catchweight) that would force the 40 year old onto fight nearly at light heavyweight despite being the defending champion and the hypocrisy of rejecting his previous deal as David proposed a very profitable deal (50$ million) for a Mega fight.
It seems that Canelo losing leverage as the A side, although now he will fight a 2 year unactive alcoholic who was rocked by Montiel in twelve rounds in his last bout.Last edited by Malvado; 06-18-2023, 12:31 AM.Comment

Some people don't realize how difficult and debilitating it is to drop 20lbs from one's natural weight & not be able to rehydrate properly. Especially at the age of 39, which is a big disadvantage in itself.Comment

The walls are closing in on this cherry-picking drug cheat. Jack really exposing him for the b#*@! he is. This POS is taking boxing to new lows, anyone who keeps defending this crap either works for him or is a straight hoe fanboy.Comment
