I get that Garcia is butt hurt about ODLH not attending the post-fight conference with him. But, he can't just wish a contract out of existence.

A lot of fighters who work with DLH end up making the most money they have made in their career, and end up becoming very popular. They’re up there with Top Rank, but TR has better matchmaking for their fighters. If Ryan Garcia was with TR instead, he would be undefeated and a top 3 P4P fighters by KO’ing average fighters. So what? Floyd, Oscar, Mikey all left Bob, Ward left Goosen, Benavidez tried to leave Sampson, and Lawrence Okolie and Joshua Buatsi left Hearn fighter leave every promoter not just Golden Boy

Mikey was the only one who sued Bob, who btw, promoted many more superstars than DLH. Both Okolie and Buatsi had expired contract, no legal action needed to leave. There has now been legal action taken with GBP 2 biggest stars ever signed. You genuinely can’t believe that’s normal.

Haymon never paid Oscar anything. The courts threw out that lawsuit faster than Usain Bolt.

Ward sued Goosen and loss… Benavidez was about to be sued by Sampson before the Bobfather bowed out of signing him. Mikey sued arum and sat for 2 yrs for his contract to be up. While Hearn got lawyers involved with Okolie before they came to a settlement. Like it or not promoters get sued left and right not just Oscar once a fighter gets big enough he like Canelo and now Ryan want to leave but in this case Oscar got an iron clad contract kid ain’t going anywhere till the end of 2026
