If the undefeated welterweight champions didn't start talking directly to each other earlier this year, they wouldn't have completed a deal for them to finally fight July 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. So...

Crawford said. “... And then they fault the fighters for not taking the fight because things wasn’t right in the contract.”
            Because of course:

“The Errol Spence Jr.-Terence Crawford undisputed welterweight championship fight is in jeopardy because of a lingering dispute regarding the contract, sources told ESPN.
Since Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) will earn a percentage of the net revenue, he wants the ability to approve expenses.”
Almost like he forgot that he went on Instascam and confirmed this was the main reason he went to the mandatory that ended up being a bare knuckle knockout.

Was this call before or after Avenasyan, after that fight Id suspect the one that broke the original talks would be the one coming back, didn't Spence call him before that fight and all the Hedge fund stuff came out, I don't care who fault it was it just seems like a lot of contradictions around it.

Jezzz so important that they wrote an article about nothing huh, so glad i read it now i feel more informed. Whatever. Just trying to pull in one or two more buys as the fight is being hyped, nothing wrong with hype but this one pc here it nothing. Have them do something idiotic or say something out of bounds to catch the interest of those who dont know or care about the fight. "for family" like they are going off to fight in a foreign war or something. Get real it is about money and you guys are two of the more interesting ones fighting right now that is all. Just **** it out in the ring -- destroy each other but come on guys. "if not for my phone call" ..................duh

Both boxers deserve credit. They proved that its the fighter that is most important. This outcome is also why we have commentators like Steve Bunce slagging the heavyweight division off on the BBC.
