this fight would not break de la hoya-mayweather numbers. simply put, neither are on DLH's level. it could defo reach a nice 1.5-1.8 milli with the proper promotion.

They have HUGE egos but it is too much money to let slip. They won't let it happen PERIOD.

I am guessing you don't like facts very much.

facts? i love them. like the fact that neither mayweather or pacquiao are as known as de la hoya. mayweather has given his resume to the media countless times, how hes been in an at&t commercial, dancing with the stars, and wwe. it makes me laugh when he does that, de la hoya doesent have to do that, and if he did, he would be there for hours. de la hoya broke into the millions in term of ppv buys in 1999, what were mayweather and pac doing then? i can go to my college tomorrow, and tell a few girls in each of my classes that I am going to a de la hoya fight next month and they will know who im talking about. mayweather not su much.

neither guy will agree to 50/50 so evne though they can potentially make the biggest payday in their career i doubt either one will budge in negotiations (even though floyd needs every dollar he can find these days)

                  You're dreaming big time buddy...

Oscar/Floyd did 2.4, Pacquiao is NOT EVEN closed to being next on DLH's mainstream popularity .

If I was Cotto I would save everything that is said about a Mayweather/Pacquiao bout and then throw it in the media's face after he beats Pacquiao.
