I guarantee that’s one of the main issues. A messy divorce, not being paid enough, so you declare retirement, follow through with vacating belts and cultivate your relationship with your kid. At least until they patch it up (if they ever do). I’d be upset too if I had a rocky relationship with my father/trainer, getting underpaid, raked by the media, and then to top it off hand over a portion over to someone who’s gonna live comfortably off of that.
Yeah seems to be a correlating factor.
I think he’ll definitely fight again but I could see him taking an extended break until all this drama blows over.
