Stanionis is going to give Vergil that work. They're basically the same as far as fighting style and toughness, but Stan does everything a little better. Stanionis with the KO, even though he may get knocked down, he will get up and finish his food.

It basically highlights why the opposite of your statement is true. They do virtually the same thing, But VERGIL actually does everything a little bit better.
Harder, more versatile jab. More sophisticated combination punching on the inside. More advanced defense, high guard and shot parrying. More educated body attack. Less selling out.
One thing I will give Stanionis is he may have the better chin, but Vergil is bigger, and hits harder.
Stanionis doesn't hit as hard as Mean machine. But is younger, its a 50/50. But Vergil has more tools.

Makes for a good fight, but at least finally we shall see. I think that Vergil is severely damaging himself physically by trying to stay at 147. Rhabdomyolysis twice is crazy, and fighting someone that brings just as much pressure and aggression while draining himself is dangerous. I picked Stanionis when the fight was first announced, and after Ortiz went through his health situation again, I am even more confident.
