    Benevidez would stop Canelo

6'2 volume puncher with power in both hands who throws 3-4 punch combinations with a long, active jab one of the best in the sport and a mean body puncher

    vs

5'8 at best slow footed cement feet, bad stamina, one punch at a time ginger haired midget.

there's a reason the ginger mexican beef idiot doesn't wanna fight benevidez. it's an awful style matchup for him.

That would be interesting to see. Canelo looks extremely difficult to stop.

The real question for me is how would Benevidez do against Beterbiev. Its great he wants the naturall smaller, high mileage Canelo. But why doesnt HE move up and go about becoming a winner the way Canelo did all those years ago? Just a lot of 168lb ************ is all that I see from the fun and compelling Benevidez. Let him put his tough talk up against an undefeated monster.

Given the strength of Canelo’s chin, I seriously doubt it.

Canelo went 36 rounds with GGG and never even wobbled for a second. Benevides is stronger and bigger than ggg but he isn’t nearly the puncher or boxer ggg was.

You're entitled to your opinion, but he's never been close to getting stopped. Don't see how that makes my post "false".

                Benevidez is vetter than ggg.

Benevidez style is at a complete advtanage vs canelo.

The jaB and length are a huge problem for canelo alpng with the work rate.

You can see canelo fighting charlo because charlo is a low volume fighter. Thats the pace canelo wants to fight at. A real comfortavle fight.

Benevidez will push him like no other. Why do you think hes not even negotiating to fight him?

Almost every Benavidez stoppage is just from brutal beat downs with opponents still standing and not even rocked. The same thing would happen to Canelo. Once he runs out of gas he will be taking too many punches and it has to be stopped, the chin is not even relevant. Go watch Benavidez vs Angulu or Ellis to get an idea,

I also think Benavidez is all wrong for Canelo. Their ages and where they're at in their career trajectories spells trouble for Canelo, too. A lot of the success Bivol was having vs Canelo, El Bandera Roja would have too.
