Teofimo is on top of the world now, maybe not like Tank Davis'profile, but he won't have to fight in the smaller section of MSG anymore.

That's a big fight too, Tank vs Lopez, if Gervonta's team don't demand these rehydration clauses and all that nonsense.

It's more appealing than Haney vs Lopez vs Shakur, for the casuals and non-casuals who want more of a brawl.

And I am the opposite of a casual, been watching since I've been a kid, waking up in the middle of the night in S.Africa to watch fights in America. Back in the late 1980's and early 1990's they did not show Mike Tyson and Chavez fights here on TV, because of the apartheid ban.

I was fortunate to catch the odd big fight back then, especially remembering Hagler-Hearns. Then on to the likes of Terry Norris, Bowe, Holyfield and Lewis. Many others of course. Sorry for going off topic lol.

I could’ve locked myself in with a four-fight deal over there (with Top Rank), but with this, I can fight Matias … I can grab another belt, and after three fights I’m a free agent again, with another belt. Like I said, the Matchroom deal is believing in myself, which I do 100%.”

I don’t know how long arum has teo locked in for, but there is zero chance he is making a fight with Hearn when he has plenty of in house options (Ramirez, Barboza, Haney) that will be a million times easier to make. Hearn would have to offer something ****** for arum to make that fight and I don’t blame him.

TR offered him more money too! They have Teo, Taylor, Ramirez, and Barboza!
