Dumb analogies. These poor guys are both trying to be good promoters and they just do not have it upstairs. The fight is a big one though and it makes for an article.Comment

Its so corny to see two guys trying to trash talk who have no idea how to trash talk and who arent trying to say anything actually offensive to the other guy, then you end up with lame chit like this "Im going to fry this fish and serve him to people who eat fish" wtf does that even mean?

Doesn't mean anyone's fake. It's the truth hahaha. Only us hardcore fans know these guys. Hardcore fans is not waht makes multimillinaires out of boxers, it's the casuals. There are people seriously arguing that this fight is bigger than De la Hoya vs Trinidad. That was the biggest fight in boxing at the time from 2 of the biggest stars. At the time of the time, it set the record for most ppv buys on a non hw fight for something like 1.5 million. This was 1999. it's obviously since been broken, but De la hoya and Trinidad were 2 legit stars.Comment

These guys are not that well known. I've probably been watching boxing before you were born. I actually love the 7am japan fights and I watch every weight class from 105-HW. No one cares about the Flyweight Sunny Edwards/Bam Rodriguez impending fight. You have 2 guys here in Crawford and Sence that are 33 and 35 that bullchitted for 5 years to give us a fight as they are entering the end of their primes. Along the way, the biggest wins from both of them are Mike Garcia and either Gamboa/Indongo/Postol/Horn from Crawford (pick one). This chit aint Hearns/SRL, DLH/Trinidad. You got 2 carefully managed 30+ year old welterweights finally fighting each other. The sad part is that Boots and Ortiz probably won't even entertain fighting each other until 2029. It's the era of boxing that we are in. I've accepted it, but I aint praising these mfers for making us wait for 5 years.
Yeah this dude clearly outed himself as the most casual boxing fan I've ever seen referring to two of THEE clearly undisputed best fighters in the sport and has been for quite awhile. I can't stand casual fans in anything let alone my sport. Commit to being a real fan or GTFOComment
