Did Josh Taylor look like the same guy who beat Prograis to you?

I think that it's a variety of things, but many times styles make fights. Pacquiao beat Bradley easily 3 times, and went to war with Marquez 4 times. You'd think that Bradley would get destroyed by Marquez, but he was able to beat him easily. Kambosos went in with a high energy, high volume style against Lopez. Wasn't afraid to get hit. Martin was super defensive, yet knew when to throw punches. Taylor didn't seem to have an actual plan going in. He looked slow, didn't see punches coming, and was gunshy the moment he started getting countered. Reach and hight meant nothing, and he was always in range for Lopez to land on him.

Does he not live a clean life? He strikes me as a drinker and a party animal and if that’s the case, I can see why he’s fallen off. I see a major regression and I dont think inactivity is the reason either.

No but it's still a great win for Lopez. When Pacquiao lost to Mayweather he wasn't the same guy who was destroying Hatton, Cotto and Margarito but most would say that it was still a great win for Mayweather. Id like to see what Taylor could do at 147. Josh Taylor VS Michael McKinson or Ekow Essuman would be perfect for his welterweight debut!
