The fix was most definitely in full effect. The only thing that could have derailed it would have been a Derevyanchenko knockout, and he almost got it. Think about it, even without the knockdown, Munguia would have still got a draw in that fight. An absolute disgrace.

Is mungia a 160 or 168? Because if he's campaigning at 160 I can see hgg in the picture, but if he's at 168, it doesn't make any sense. Morell jr, benavidez or andrade should be a much better matching

Nice back and forth fight. Jaime I don't see beating anyone elite. He got my respect dude got heart (sorry Ryan Garcia) but he to me based upon the eye test would lose to Janibek Charlo Morrell jr Benavidez and Canelo. he should aim for the GGG fight (if he ain't retired) or fight the Lara Garcia winner but @160 no fake weight class. Win another belt (he should beat either one) then cash out vs Canelo. Canelo is dodging any major threats @168 I see him fighting Charlo a middleweight on layoff then Jaime in Mexico or Arabia (another blown up middleweight) or even Andrade another of such who dodged his Janibek fight and who fights are only worth 300k total in bidding. Andrade needs a name Jaime if @ 168 would do both are blown up middleweight still green @168

Was a good action fight I had it 7-5 Sergiy, with the knockdown it should've been a draw. I see people talking like Sergiy dominated the fight it was straight up back and forth the entire time and Munguia hurt him a lot of times as well but Sergiy was sharper in spots and landed a lot of clean shots. Sergiy was a bit dirty though he headbutt Munguia several times while jumping in head first and also used his forearms a lot. It is a fight that is definitely worthy of a rematch though and hopefully they make it happen.

Munguia has a chin but he gets too wild, if we would've relaxed a bit and just took a step back he could've had a lot more success. He has a good chin but he can't eat shots like that from Benavidez, Canelo and Morrell. Him vs Berlanga would be a fire fight, I still favor Munguia because Edgar is more chinny but if Berlanga lands clean I'm sure he can stun him too.

In the the end I still think he needs to go back down to 160 he looked gassed and out of shape, but even then he still kept a high work rate and never backed down. People are going to hate on him because he is a limited fighter but at least he comes to fight, he's still young he can improve but if he doesn't he will get knocked out eventually.
