    Re: the mail about Leonard/Duran.

About the first fight, they say "People thought I was out of my mind picking Duran. Sugar Ray was thought to be unbeatable at the time and understandably so he was Olympic gold medalist with exceptional skill."

Also about the first fight: "Ray proved a lot of people wrong and dug deep despite being beaten up in the early rounds."

Huh? People thought Ray was unbeatable, but then Ray proved a lot of people wrong by not losing in the first few rounds? OK...

Spence negates Crawford's most valuable weapon: going southpaw. Spence is an elite southpaw, something Crawford has never faced. That is why it is a 50/50 fight.

Great stuff all but the last question was especially heavy with a lot of truth to it and it will (IMO) likely bare itself out in the on going years. I expect Teo to do better than Garcia because like Haney, Teo listens to his father and fights who and when Dad chooses. Teo's father specifically picked Taylor at this time in his career for a reason.

Bud is much lighter on his feet than Spence and is the far superior counterpuncher. Have you ever seen Spence land a counter? Me neither. This is no 50/50 fight. That's what pundits say to seem cordial and polite to both fighters. Crawford should be favored by at least 2:1.

There's also the fact that it's a Showtime/PBC production, which is on Spence's side, the same people responsible for Rolly being a "champ" now. Are you confident Crawford will get a fair shake from the ref and the judges? I wouldn't be surprised if he's going to need a knockout, and a devastating one at that. Might alter the odds a little.

Good to see that people are noticing how lazy Bob Arum has gotten at promoting and building up fights.

This fight is not going twelve. That I guarantee you. Bud knows what to do, when to do it and how to do it. Spence's strengths play right into Crawford's hands. Remember what I told you.

Boxing rules says no holding period!

It's a boxing match not a wrestling match but fighters like Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather and Andrew Ward were allowed to get away with holding.
