He really lost the Prograis fight. Catterall beat him like a rented mule. The Postol fight was razor-thin. I believe I scored it a draw. Josh Taylor reminds me a lot of Katie Taylor in terms of manufactured hype. Katie should realistically have three losses on her resume, not one. Josh should realistically have three losses on his, yet fans and pundits pretend that he's an elite fighter.

Why does Rold keep mentioning both fighters names almost every sentence?? I've noticed it's an American writer thing. Either the writer is a bit dumb, or he thinks the reader is.
The article is about Taylor fighting Lopez. You don't need to remind me every sentence. I'm not a stoned goldfish.Comment

Both taylor and teo got similar boxing skills is the mental part that could make a difference imo. Great fight night ahead with 2 good main events and Ufc 289.Comment

Lopez should win by knockout. However, based on the ESPN one-on-one special, it would appear that the Teofimo Camp has not improved. Teofimo should remove Sr. as a lead trainer/corner man. If Teofimo loses, he'll have his corner's inabilities to prepare as the blame.
But Teofimo should win by knockout. Taylor is overrated.Comment

Their styles mesh well.
I bet the Draw.
I can't see either guy pulling away.
Teo will box ang move the 1st half, Taylor slows him down in the 2nd half.
Probably gonna be a really good fight ,(somehow)Comment

By Cliff Rold - The talking is done. For the defending champion, so is the wait. It's been well more than a year since Jr. welterweight king Josh Taylor was last seen in the ring. It was the worst night of his professional career. He suffered a knockdown, lost a point, and escaped by the skin of his teeth with his crown against Jack Catterall.
