I remember seeing the Ruelas fight and being very impressed. I thought he would win,but not in quite such an emphatic manor. Its also important to remember that Oscar was pretty quick at 135.

Would have been a real war, punches flying. I think it would go a lot like Mosley vs. De La Hoya, but Oscar was too big and strong at 135. Late KO for Golden Boy.

I dont think you can count manny out entirely,he is a great fighter himself after all, I just cant think that a fight prime 4 prime between these two would look anything like the fight they actually did have. I think that if Oscar was to win this, then it would be by ko,and probably before the 9th. If it was a distance fight I am not sure.

DLH had nasty power at LW. He KO's Pac prime for prime at 135.

He was starving himself all those years because his advisor told him to start at a lower weight to gain an advantage. He finally said enough is enough and just went up to 147, a more comfortable weight, in order to fight O$car.

Shane is a diesel MF; way stronger than Pac. Pac doesn't have the strength or the chin that Shane has. What Pac does have in comparison is speed and being explosive like you said.

But for that fight at 135, I'm taking Oscar. It would be a very good fight, but Oscar would take this. Back then Oscar's left was savage. and his speed was very good. He didn't have the shoulder problem back then from what I remember which is why he could use it throughout the fight.
