Jermain Taylor is better than yall make him out to be

The man has great skills. He just doesn't finish fights well. Kind of like a far less talented Hearns imo. He just doesn't know how to wrap up fights. What's yall take what does he do well?

I am a Jermain taylor backer... I like him as a fighter and a person... I think he is a very good fighter... I think he just needs some tweaks in training... he needs to try different things to up his stamina... a better tuned Taylor is a problem for anyone.

He's a great fighter, very exciting to watch and seems like a real great guy.

Anyone that in the last few years still has wins over Hopkins, and has nearly beaten Winky and Pavlik is a very good fighter.

Unfortunately he does gas and doesn't have the killer instinct enough.

But everyone has theyre flaws, his words and training camp do genuinely sound pretty positive lately. People write someone off way too much for a loss, he can definitely beat Abraham and if clever easily get a UD. It's a close fight that could go either way.

Everyone knows he's a very skilled fighter, one of the most skilled out there. He lacks something upstairs mentally, maybe the mental toughness and stamina issues.

Emmanuel Stewart said he wouldn't listen to him in the corner, ever. He would either forget what he was told or ignore it entirely.

i think taylor is a great guy, from what i see at least... and he does have some good skills. he needs to use his jab more and also needs a little more side to side head movement, instead of always just ducking a little. he gets pretty predictable. also, his major issue is stamina... ala zab judah-esque....

other than the bs draw with winky, i like the guy... just dont think he has a champions heart anymore, he wants to live the champion life but doesnt want to train like a champion (see Sam Peter)

Roy Jones (today) is still better than Jermain Taylor.
