Without the individual boxers' assistance in not recognizing these useless trinkets, I'm afraid they're here to stay. As long as they have any kind of power with promoters, the Alphabet Bandits are going to have something to say in the sport. And now that Oscar De La Hoya has his greasy hands all over The Ring Magazine's belts, we've pretty much lost that championship's credibility as well.
At least for now, we're screwed.
