he's one of my favorite fighters to watch. like everybody else, hopefully this serves to get him on the right path

he just dominated Joel Julio and was on the verge of big things when he brought that drama on himself.

hopefully he does his time without incident, comes back, gets a tuneup fight, then goes to fight the top dogs at 154

good new for fight fans. but as people he shouldnt get away with **** like that, what makes him any different from me or you?? if he wanted to influence kids, then the dumb prick wouldnt have carried a gun in his car.
I'd have been happier for him to get the 10 years. Also i cant imagine him being the face of hbo or golden boy promotions for much longer.

I think its appropriate though. Him getting 10 years for this **** wouldve been bull****.

He got lucky there, a typical Reagan appointed judge would throw the book at a black man from the streets. Oscar, Anne Wolfe and Miller were essential in getting his sentence cut so short.

I like Kirkland & Anne Wolfe, they've had it so rough you cant help but to cheer for them to make it.

Hopefully Kirkland can do what he can do to stay in shape. The article points out he looked about 40 pounds heavier. I'd imagine the depression of being locked up and not knowing if you're going to get out for another 10 years or not was very unmotivating. Well, now he he knows he could be back in 10 months, there is light at the end of the tunnel. He needs to stay in physical shape while in there, do everything he can to lose that weight and stay as fit as possible.

Anyway, he'll be fine 10 months is nothing. In fact it may do him some good since his style is so bruising to let his body rest up a bit.

It may be a blessing in disguise all around.
