Nashiro and Cazares Battle To a Draw in Japan

In what ringside observers described as a close fight, Nobuo Nashiro (13-1-1, 8KOs) retained his WBA super flyweight title by battling the always tough Hugo Cazares (30-6-2, 22KOs) to a draw in Osaka, Japan. The scores were 116-112 for Nashiro, 116-112 for Cazares and 114-114 for the draw. [details]

I saw the fight myself here in Japan. My score is also a draw at 114 apiece. It could have been 114 - 113 in favor of Nashiro if the 12th round had been scored 10 -8 for the defending JP champion. You people can count on me on this. The bout was really a draw, which is far from controversial.
