Spence is gonna get worked. He may have success in the first few rds but as the fight progresses, he will start getting tagged up. Crawford sparks him out in 9-12.

Crawford just beating who they put in front of of him and keeping his mouth shut.——
I NEVER said or suggested they do anything crazy to promote the fight. You are just grasping on straws to make arguments.
As for the Floyd fights you listed, I will remind you Crawford fought Khan, Brook, Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan etc. All C level fighters but I’m sure you believe they were all great.
Obviously he is stepping up his comp and will get full credit in process if he beats an undefeated multi belt holder in Spence. Floyd will cherrypick a c level fighter , have excuses for not ko'ing the guy, then yell tbe it's a difference.
You are suggesting the ppv will flop if they don't go out there and act like a total buffoon like Floyd did isn't that what you said:
As for Bud and Spence not going out to sell the fight, it’s true but that fight will not sell 1.5 million PPV
Only Floyd boys like you worry about ppv numbers and put that type of negativity in the air. Just buy the fight since you worried so much. Don't be like you boy Mayweather and try to get full credit for beating Conor McGregor

Given Spence is the underdog, and most fans and boxers predict Crawford will beat Spence, a lot of people are going to be surprised. Many people are saying Crawford by KO.
I will not be surprised at all as I know Spence has all the tools to beat and even stop Crawford. If not a KO, Spence will win 9 rounds to 3.Comment

Crawford can’t sell a fight if he tried. And he hasn’t been in there with good enough fighters to raise his profile.
Spence at least has a history of selling 300k-350k PPV’s at least 3 different occasions vs other fighters who have never headlined a PPV.
But that’s what happens when you fight other good fighters in the division. You raise your profile.
Crawford signed and resigned, and resigned with Top Rank, knowing TR didn’t have good fighters.
It has been proven so many times. Names fight other big names, they sell. BUT only if those fighters actually have a history of fighting top fighters.
You can’t just come out of hiding one day as a decently known fighter and think your name will hold value in a big PPV fight.
They’re lucky the intrigue of the “0” is there, as well as the intrigue of the possible KO. But as far as resume’s go, Crawford hasn’t convinced me even though he has mostly everyone else fooled.Comment

I am in line with Crawfords statement. A poster used Floyd as an example, I disagreed. He doesn't have to act like a buffoon to sell a fight. Neither does Spence.
Captain Sav-A-Floyd you keep defending Floyds janky practices with previous fighters but that is a weak argument because Ali, Hopkins, wasn't selling their soul to make a ppv. We already understand that you are not acknowledging that fact.
Furthermore, you want to ignore past fighters who did very well on ppv without the buck dancing garbage like Hagler, like Oscar, Pernell and Holyfield did pretty good as well as Srl. Big George. If Spence/Crawford aren't interested in being the next clown suit wearing face of boxing, I say good for them. Put on a good show and you will be good

Say what? Floyd fought Berto a raked thru the coals c fighter at the tail end of his career as a playing it safe cherrypick to protect his 0. You had a young hungry Thurman calling him out but this is how Floyd been operating for so long you just either make excuses or ignore it.Last edited by djtmal; 06-07-2023, 06:51 AM.Comment

Didn't Crawford go for the knockout because he was told he was losing hen he outboxed Porter.
Then he outboxed Porter and then TKO.Comment

Floyd also just beating who they put infront of him.
“Obviously he’s stepping up his competition”? Seriously? Lol 5 years after beating a bum called Jeff Horn is when your boy is stepping up competitor AND you are actually acknowledging it.
Now you are calling Spence a multi belt holder after criticizing him all along.
I never suggested the fight would flop. I like Spence and I want the fight to sell. I am just comparing their fight to the record holder in PPV sales.
Stop being toxic and read between the lines.Comment
