Smooth play on Usyk's part. Definitely changes the landscape on a potential Fury fight. Hopefully that also gets hearn out of the middle of the negotiating and promoting too. Will be interesting to see if that impacts the network TV coverage.

Yeah at first I thought he signed up for one of those events where you have to climb a rope then army crawl under some barbed wire and throw a football through a tire and all that.

This is the Saudis and Team Usyk’s way of telling Fury to go F himself. Fury isn’t going to hold the Saudis hostage with his BS diva demands. Also, it sends a clear message to Eddie Hearn (Joshua), Frank Warren/ Bob Arum, (Fury), and Al Haymon, (Wilder), that their tired of getting ripped off. Finally, the Saudis have woken up and realized they can control their destiny without those shysters in their pockets.

Also, with the Saudis signing Usyk, he doesn’t have to worry about fighting in the UK and getting robbed if the fight goes the distance, which was pretty much guaranteed to happen. Last, Fury had better behave himself over there in the oil desert because the Saudis ain’t going to tolerate the BS vitriol he gets away with in the UK.

                New sheriff in town Tyson!

Hearn is not involved with Usyk, his co-promotion contract ended with AJ fights.

Yeah I know. Just wondering how far in bed hearn has gotten with the Saudi's on anything boxing they promote.
