The promoter didn’t want the rehydration clause. The promoter wanted the fighter to take a tuneup fight rather than go into a PPV main event right after a long layoff.

Obviously all that ended up blowing up in the fighter’s face but now he is mad at the promoter instead of at himself! It’s mind boggling. I’d be sick of all that bullsh-t too if I was the promoter.
