Roy Jones Jr. is not worried about fighting Bernard Hopkins in the first quarter of 2010. Jones won a decision over Hopkins in 1993 for the vacant IBF middleweight title. Last week he signed an agreement to fight Hopkins in a rematch 16-years in the making. He says beating Hopkins is nothing new, he beat him in 1993 with one hand. Jones has always claimed that he beat Hopkins with a hand injury. The only concern for Jones is the IBO cruiserweight title bout against champion Danny Green on December 2 in Sydney, Australia. Roy sounds confident. That's good. It will be good to see him back in the ring on December 2. Hopefully he can deliver on the KO promise. He still has power but he dosen't follow up when he hurts his opponents anymore. Ajamu, Trinidad, Lacy was all hurt but he let them off the hook instead of trying to finish.

you could see hopkins crouching from a body shot, johnson got flurried with some bombs and toney was seein stars but they were'nt really ready to go like the others
i cant think of anyone else that has'nt been put in the 'ready to go' category against jones
like tyson rjj is a very capable knockout artist

I think I would laugh if Roy could make Hopkins look like Lacy, but that ain't going to happen. Roy better be prepared for a dirty ass version of Hopkins. Clinching, headbutting, and so on.

He's right, he only needs to worry about Green right now. Hopkins is no Tarver. God, I love saying that! All you chumps saying Hopkins beat a prime Tarver make me laugh. If Tarver had been his usual self, he'd ko his ass as he promised to. Danny Green would most certainly beat Hopkins up as well. He's a tough cookie.
