There is no excuse for Oscar to get into a social media battle with a fighter he is supposed to promote. Ryan is twit for sure but Oscar should be the grownup in any relationship with his boxers. No one can question that De La Hoya was a great boxer, but he definitely is as weak-minded as Garcia.

Oscar is a strange guy & Ryan is super sensitive. The personalities are too similar--two golden boys.Comment

Oscar is a tremendous promoter.. that does nothing but create superstar & star fighters.. the jealousy over this fact is never ending.
Ryan is upset because Oscar took a pic with Rollies who flew out to the card to promote a future Ryan vs Rolly fight.. LOLLLL RYAN sounds childish!!Comment

Awww man, little babies never thought it would be like this. Poor child gets no respect from his fella Oscar and poor Oscar his good pal Ryan will not listen to his words of wisdom. I feel so sorry for both of them to have to endure such madness in this world day in and day out. How do they sleep at night, how do they get thru the day ? Shoot man, everybody that posted can see what a clown show, cry baby, immature spoiled childen they both are. But hey get attention any way you can except in the ring right ? Keep that out of the talk how you performed in the ring. the other guy Oscar he should have known better and learned something in his time Guy is not a kid anymore. These two childern should learn to get along in the same playground, one day they will kiss and make up.Comment

I understand why people hate on ODLH, but the fact is he has done a good job building up Ryan Garcia into a ppv superstar. ODLH is a very smart promoter and good at what he does, give the devil his due.
If the Pacquiao fight were to be available, from a business standpoint it’d be INSANE for Garcia to not take that option. You’re talking 1.5 to 2 mil ppv buys, huge paycheque, when you have a career that lets face it, probably won’t last that long.
What is the issue with ODLH? It’s simple and I’ll speak bluntly: he likes booze and blow, and it’s going to continue to compromise his work. I’ve worked around addicts, I’ve battled through a drinking problem myself, all the signs are there. Some of those twitter responses to Garcia, he was almost definitely drunk or high, or it makes no strategic sense to respond like that. He often shows up on camera all red faced and staring off into space. The list goes on.
He has been through rehab and he clearly doesn’t have this beat, and over the course of a 4 hour ppv event where the party is going hard, you know he’s dipping in hard. I don’t have proof, but every fibre of my being says he was simply too drunk or high to be at that presser, and the death threats were an excuse to save face. It’s called a security team, and nobody is going to shoot you at a presser. Remember that Chuck Lidell talk show appearance? That’s the types of bullet GBP probably had to dodge by getting ODLH out of the building.

Ryan built himself up on Social media. Minus the his short comings in the ring, Ryan is a promoter's dream.
There is no excuse for what Oscar and Bernard did to him. They have abandoned him in his time of need. That was not professional nor humane.Comment

No one is going to sign with Golden Boy after this. It’s like a graveyard over there. Munguia and Ortiz are virtually unknown and are barely mentioned by boxing media. Everyone know Ryan got his popularity through TikTok’s and Social Media Oscar did nothing to help his career. He’d be way bigger under PBC or Top Rank. You’d never see Haymon acting like this.Comment
