I've always felt Canelo came in way to confident in the first fight everyone including so called experts said Canelo was gonna blow bivol away. He was golfing instead of focusing fully on the task. Canelo knows he needs this he will come in fully prepared and mix up his attack this time. Bivol is what he is a decision master canelo needs to turn it back a bit ala the first 2 ggg fights combinations with his exceptional upper body movement.

I see Canelo beating him in a convincing decision with most of the haters here crying foul.....like always

Canelo doesn't have the stamina to do that consistently for 12 rounds at the higher weights, especially not at 175.

I don’t like this fight. I don’t think Canelo is a LHW, and shouldn’t be fighting LHW’s. He lucked out with Kovalev chin, a fight where he struggled with just Kovalev’s jab alone. Bivol just confirmed those struggles by adding sharp power punches to the good jabs. If Bivol was shorter and smaller, i’m all for it. But with Bivol’s size and skills, it’s just too much for Canelo. And Bivol also has a very good chin, and very good defense to cover his chin. Even if Canelo penetrates his great defense, he still has that strong chin to worry about.

Also, Bivol landed the more clear, telling blows, that’s usually what Canelo does. Canelo looked so uncomfortable in that fight.

He’s a prideful Mexican boxer though, so I get it. But the fight to make was Benavidez. It’s a better match and more on par with what Canelo can handle in these higher weights.
