all fighters can get some type of privilege in certain situations & in life in general white people or people who are born into middle class may have it easier all things being equal type of thing, but for example working 40plus hours a week in any job is very tough going for the most part, so nothing is really easy as such, u have to have the right attitude to make it work i would say but at least you might have a better chance to make a go of it anyway, having said that going into a trade for example should be open to all and very well paid too if u stick at it

also wilder bringing up privilege for fury in those fights is an example of things going wrong i would say, cash is king at the end of the day

You got to figure, a lot of fighters don't have enough basic skills on how to deal with life. Especially if all they've known most of their life was being in a boxing gym with dudes who are full of testosterone and tough guy mentality. It takes away the humility most GOOD women like to see in a man.

Add to that, you have a father whose equally out of his mind and you're on a path towards destruction once things don't go your way. At this point, he needs almost like a PR rep to clean up his image because he sounds like a total c**t in most interviews and his comments with Top Rank saying they prefer black fighters had no actual basis. Just coming from a bitter dude who wishes things went his way more.

Yeah I remember when his girl didn't wanna pass him his baby. Felt bad for him.

Fuuck I can't imagine how child support is gonna work. Seems like she got him for the rest of his career. Probably gonna have to keep fighting whether he likes it or not

I feel bad for Lopez but at his young age of 25 years old he made a bad decision about the wife he picked. For men around that age, they look for everything on the outside (body, face, etc) and look at personality last. I have done it, my buddies and other men that I know have made bad choices when it comes to women in our younger years. However, Lopez in the press seems to have a very big ego, says a lot of ****** things and I can imagine this probably translates into his own personal life. I wish him the best of luck and hope he gets his personal life in order and makes better decisions on the woman he chooses.

Teo is mentally unwell. Lacks coping skills and insight. I wouldn't put any money on him moving forward.

Life is damned hard for 95% of the world. I state that as somebody with a 100% fully functional mind and body (so far). It can always be harder. We each have crosses to bear. I believe the key is prayer and asking God for wisdom (His promise to give to us if we ask) and from there 100% apply yourself to whatever thrust and direction works towards personal betterment. But the illusory nature of ideals, beauty, power, blended with the charm and illusion that so often comes with youth, can greatly upend anyone's positive momentum. I too am guilty of this, like many. I feel for Teo. He's at a fork in the road. Women have brought down great men all throughout history. And today all they have to do is merely make an accusation and the cowardice of this world (careerism, pc spin, fear and fear of taking a stand) almost immediatly sees to the man's ruin. Justice is simply an ideal and thrown into the backseat. Nice shiny ideals often amount to spit.

I hope justice prevails in Teo's world, for both him and his wife/son.

I hope she hasn't unfairly runied him. In doing so, she may greatly damage their sons path into the future.

Best advice I have gotten, never get involved with someone that doesn't have as much to lose as you do. Far too often, we get blinded with beauty and ass.es and in moment of adversity, you start to see the true colors. Good luck to him on his personal stuff. Having said all of that, Josh Taylor still needs to whoop his as.s for all the other crazy shi.t he's been talking
Excellent post! If you have to choose between your family and your lady, you probably should go with the family! Lesson for the YGs: If you take your lady to a Family gathering, and she doesn't offer to help your Mother, Sisters, and Aunties, with cooking, serving, dishes, etc., DUMP THAT CHICK!

That's not true. I blasted Hopkins when he said that about Calzaghe and stepped on Trinidad's flag in PR. Not all Black fans are the same. It's ignorant for you to believe we all are.

His mother and sisters tried to warn him about this older woman, not his father. He refused to listen. Now he has to pay the piper. I started to bet on Lopez on a hunch, but cancelled that bet wisely. He's a basket case who will fold like a cheap lawn chair at the first sign of adversity.
