    Could Mayweather-Jones Ever Happen

if both fighters win their next few fights, could they meet up in late 2010/ early 2011 at a catchweight of around 160 pounds?

The fighter of the 90's VS the fighter of the 2000's in 2011 as Jones final fight before hanging them up

Pac is the fighter of the 2000s

Also Mayweather won't even fight Mosley, how's he gonna fight Jones?

no. how can it when he wont fight welterweights, never mind middleweights. il tell you this tho, if floyd wants to win a couple easy titles at a higher weight, he could take that ****ty 1d kelly pavlik to the cleaners at 160 without breaking a sweat.

        uh...no.

Even I might stop being a Mayweather fan if he Gatti's a decrepit Jones... I mean look at the people speaking down on the Calzaghe win over Jones, because Jones was shot/passed his prime then. I can't even imagine how pissed off people would be at Mayweather.

        LMAO

Mayweather would not have the balls to step in the ring with Jones, even if the money were right, even if it is a faded Jones.

Even old Roy would KO Mayweather. The size and athletic difference is too much. Would be funny if it happened though.

meh...craziness indeed... speaking if they were same weight or camparable weight

A prime roy to a prime Mayweather, ok, I can see your point.

but now?... Floyd would Gatti him. Roy's style depends too much on that youthful athleticism that he simply doesn't have anymore
