Shakur said he is a trash fighter. He is correct. The fact that Romero is basically a sideshow clown who has talked his way into a belt with a thrown fight, and who will get beat by any decent fighter he faces, speaks volumes to the state of the sport. Really something to be proud of.

Paul built a social media following, brought his own fanbase into the sport, and he has plainly said he is trying to get better. And he promotes other fighters. He brings value and he isnt winning belts via dirty refs or acting like he is a top ten guy. Big, big difference.

Not too mention, Romero literally seems mentally handicapped. Like he isn't all there. If he ever gets really hurt there may need to be an investigation. The dude is not right.

First, it should be - He IS trash. He IS a bum. Not even taking the time to say all of the words makes him sound like a caveman or just plain lazy. Young folks are listening, reading, and watching the sport and I wish he would set a good example.
Second, those are really mean things to say. Shakur is so good and I really want to respect him.

I have never heard a fighter that fights for the undisputed in a close fights and decides he will give the last and most important round to his opponent as he feels he has done enough. Unlike Jake, Rollie is not a social media star. He’s just a terrible boxer that can talk his way into big fights. Similar to Mayorga.
Like Mayorga, Rollie with his windmill haymakers can actually hurt Garcia and possibly stop him. Again, just like Mayorga did with Vernon Forrest.

Shakur talks too much for a guy who hasn't done anything but win a bunch of vacant titles. When this guy actually faces some adversity then he can talk.
