Fair play to Wood he did what he had to do to win a wide convincing decision. I'm disappointed in Lara he looked terrible and unmotivated, his stamina was horrible and his work rate was bad he basically showed up to go to a decision.

Not take anything away from Wood but he didn’t look good against a HORRIBLE Lara.
He played it safe and never had to engage because Lara couldn't bring anything. I think Wood certainly could have upped the pace and stopped Lara, but it would have been a big risk. I'm not gonna fault him for going the conservative route after the last fight, knowing he was in full control. I assume we'll definitely get Wood vs Warrington next, which is a different style of fight, curious to see how that one goes

Except he got stopped in brutal fashion don't forget that. He won today but even with a out of shape Lara there for the taking he wasn't even close to stopping him. Let's see if he wants to unify against Venado Lopez.

Yeah but let's not pretend Wood wasn't having a lot of success in the first fight until he's ******ly traded hooks

outside of Lara landing a big shot, he hasn't really got the overall ability to beat Wood. I think that much is evident over the 19 rounds they have fought

and why are we talking about Lara and his weight? he didn't even try to make weight, so he should have been at an advantage. it was wood that killed himself to make weight.

This rematch was dull. Lara looked like sht all heavy and slow with that xtra weight ,Wood didnt do anything special either dont see the lad holding that belt for too long imo.

Whether Lara was injured or not, I think he needs to go to 130 regardless. Get right physically and mentally and hopefully rejuvenated at a new weight class. Would like to see him debut at 130 against Ramiro Cesena after he got robbed against Mattice, would be a fun fight

I wanted a barn-burner, but I can't even be mad at Wood. He gave us an entertaining performance last time, and it ended with him getting stopped. He took this rematch in three months and knew he had to fight safety-first.
