  • Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford Confident Heading Into Spence Showdown: "Watch Me Fry This Fish"

For the better part of the past half-decade, both Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford have brazenly claimed that they're the welterweight division's leading man. Those thoughts and opinions, of course, could only be settled in one violent way...squaring off in the ring.

Had trouble beating that Lithuanian bum who's name we don't even know and yet he thinks he'll beat Spence, can't wait for little Bud to be humbled.

Duckford is going to be all over the place. Spence is going to break that fragile ego with that body attack and force Bud to stand and fight. I got Spence winning by late stoppage.

I’m picking Spence by late stoppage. Pretty sure he understands that this could end really bad if he isn’t on his game.

I expect a pretty viscous version of Errol to show up coming forward, pumping the jab, and firing hard body shots eventually causing Terence to fold.

Crawford accepted a 2-fight deal with Al Haymon (aka finally accepted his B-Side status).

Effectively exposes him, because he could have done that back in January 2022 when Spence called him out, then had the fight done and dusted for July/August, STILL went to BLK to rob them for a quick in January, rematch now.

But Crawford doesn't understand the BUSINESS of boxing.

Errol is a strong man, but my feeling tells me that when u were thrown from a car and knocked out worse than most ppl ever get knocked out in the ring, meaning knocked cold with your face hitting concrete, all ur teeth were knocled out and two weeks worth of your memory was erased, the damage from that doesn't just go away, it's definitely still there. He's very sturdy, so it may appear as if he's recovered completely and regained much of his old form, but i feel when he gets hit as hard, sharp, and accurately as Bud is going to hit him, that damage is going to start to show as the punches accumulate. Bud is not Danny Garcia, and even Ugas who isn't known as a puncher, wobbled Errol and we saw his recovery from that and Errol came back to win. But we did see him get wobbled and hurt. Bud is not those guys. He's really going to be aiming to crack Errol's melon and targeting certain spots for maximum damage
